ROBERT WAS  FIRST  BORN CHILD TO  JOHN AND RUBY BLANTON,IN ARGILLITE,KY MAY 20.1934. HE WAS THE OLDEST OF 15 CHILDREN.

AT 17. HE ENLISTED IN THE USAF,WHERE HE MET AND MARRIED  THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE KATHLEEN KAYE. THEY HAD 5  CHILDREN MICHEAL DEANNA AND LORI.CAMERON AND JEREMY.  5 GRANDCHILDREN.NIKKI,BILLY,JENNNIFER;MEGAN AND EMILY.   6 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN,ALLANA.AUSTIN.ALEX.AIDEN.ALIVIA.DYLAN 2 STEP GRANDCHILDREN,AMBER AND JESSICA

HE REMAINED IN THE MILITARY UNTIL 1986 . LIVING IN GEORGIA WHERE HE REMAINED TILL HIS DEATH IN 2009.

ROBERT ENJOYED  WORKING IN HIS YARD,PLANTING AND FEEDING BIRDS.

HE WAS  A BIG VIEWER OF FOX NEWS.

HIS LAST  MONTHS OF LIFE WERE A STRUGGLE  BUT  HE NEVER COMPLAINED.

HE WILL FOREVER BE  MISSED BY HIS FAMILY.

Robert Cecil Blanton, 74, entered into rest on Saturday, May 9, 2009.

Mr. Blanton was born on May 20, 1934, in Argillite, Kentucky. He worked for the United States Government and retired as a Recruiter for the United States Air Force. He loved his family and friends while enjoying and loving life itself. His parents, John Blanton and Ruby Litteral Blanton, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Kathleen Kay Blanton; children, Robert M. Blanton, Deanna L. Mashburn, Lori (William) Meeks, Robert Cameron (Ashley) Blanton, and Jeremy Craig (Kasey) Blanton, all of Warner Robins; fifteen siblings; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sixty-two nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Floyd Neace officiating.

Passed away on May 9, 2009.
